Blackened Seasoning Blend

DID YOU KNOW- you can make your own blackened seasoning blend?! Homemade seasoning blends can be tastier, less expensive, and contain significantly less sodium than store-bought options. Plus, you probably already have all the ingredients you need to make a delicious seasoning blend at home.

Play around with the quantities to your liking:

  • Smoked paprika (can sub with paprika if you don’t have or don’t like smoked paprika- but, in my opinion, it helps enhance that smoky component of blackened seasonings)

  • Onion Powder

  • Garlic Powder

  • Dried Oregano

  • Dried Thyme

  • Cayenne Pepper

  • Salt

  • Black Pepper
