Honey Garlic Soy Shrimp & Sausage Skillet
Here’s an easy, one-pan, high-protein meal that will satisfy the sweet & savory lovers in the room! Pair with a rice, pasta, cauliflower rice, or legume-based pasta for a carb & fiber boost.
Ingredients
10oz (~20 pieces) tail-off shrimp (I used Kirkland frozen, tail-off shrimp)
3 sausage links (I used a Premio 6-pack & froze the remainder)
Can opt for sweet or spicy sausage- your preference
2 heaping tablespoons of minced garlic
1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce (can substitute with coconut aminos to reduce the sodium content in this recipe)
1/4 cup honey
1-12oz bag of frozen broccoli florets (~4 cups)
Instructions
Heat up a large pan, coat with non-stick spray.
Pan sear your sausages until the outsides are golden brown; remove from the pan.
In the same hot pan, sauté your garlic. Add your frozen broccoli and cover to let the water cook out and steam the broccoli.
When the broccoli is defrosted, uncover and add your shrimp (the shrimp cooks quickly).
While the shrimp & broccoli are cooking together, slice up the sausage.
Add the sliced sausage back into the skillet, add your honey & soy sauce, and stir together. Serve on it’s own or with a side, and enjoy!
